Riya Pabari | Founder & CEO, Modern Parenthood
Riya has spent the last decade obsessed with designing transformative learning experiences for ambitious professionals going through moments of transition. Originally inspired by her own transition from the corporate world into high-growth startups, her first venture was an alternative-MBA. She brought together some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, educators and behavioural scientists to design a first-of-its kind curriculum that helped hundreds of modern business leaders accelerate their growth.
Then, in 2023, she faced a transition more profound than she had ever experienced before: becoming a parent. Parenthood—arguably the most important job of her life—came with no roadmap, no structured training, and an overwhelming flood of conflicting advice. So, she did what she does best: researched, synthesised, and built a system. The idea for Modern Parenthood was born.
Riya holds an MA from Cambridge, an MSc from Cass Business School, and is a fellow of Makers Academy & On Purpose. She lives in Notting Hill in London with her husband and daughter, Athena, who inspires her daily to bring intention and joy to the messy and magical journey of parenthood.
